ISID has partnered with the Smart City Cluster, an organization trying to advance Smart City technology, with its Intelion Safe City platform, an AI driven solution that can help law enforcement and city councils in improving citizen safety and general security.

ISID, a technology company focused on AI solutions and platforms for advanced video and audio storage and analysis is now a partner of the Smart City Cluster, an Alliance dedicated to connecting technology partners with city governments and agencies, for the advancement of Smart City technology all over the world.
What is the Smart City Cluster?
The Smart City Cluster is an alliance of more than 200 companies and institutions that improve the quality of life of citizens. Is it dedicated to the development of Smart Cities, where this concept is being defined as an “efficient, sustainable and comfortable city”.
The goal of this alliance is to connect the cities with the businesses, knowledge and technology partners using a cooperation model between all the parties: private companies, universities, technology parks and sector organizations.
Smart City Cluster tries to cover the entire value chain of the city of the future, from its most technological to the most social aspects. The alliance foments collaboration among its partners, favouring research, development and innovation in the different solutions and technologies oriented towards the development of smart cities.
Intelion Safe City
The Intelion AI Video and Audio Analytics platform is ISID’s flagship product, used in Law Enforcement and Intelligence Agencies. Intelion Safe City is especially focused on the Safe Cities initiatives that cities around the world are rolling out or have already in place.
Our platform can connect directly to surveillance cameras around the city, or to any VMS the city may already have, where security and traffic camera feeds concentrate, Intelion adds an AI Analytics layer to the VMS, for assisted video and audio analytics, helping to monitor hundreds of cameras automatically with no human intervention, in 24/7. This frees up a substantial amount of law enforcement and security personnel, who can now do higher value work, instead of watching camera feeds all day long.
After defining your own surveillance rules and search parameters, Intelion works without human intervention, looking for number plates, faces, objects or specific behaviours (crowds, open violence, etc.). Once something is found, an alert is sent immediately to the appropriate officers or personnel, so an informed action can be taken at once.
The kind of AI guided automation that Intelion provides results in personnel savings and an optimized dispatching of the appropriate teams (law enforcement, firefighters, medical, waste collection, etc.) for each specific situation. Intelion concentrates all the information on just one screen, to help better decision making, and avoiding duplicate efforts, by different city agencies.
Any positive identification can be tracked back in time through all the connected cameras, to find where a specific number plate, face or person appeared on the city cameras. The analytics results can generate summary reports for informing all the involved organisms, so everyone has the same data.
